Archaeology Festival

About

Budding young archaeologists are invited to find out how the Romans lived and discover what they left behind in our mock Roman excavation pits. Get digging!

On 16 & 17 July, roundhouse experts David and Ann Freeman will be giving talks about life in the Iron Age and how the new roundhouse was built during the spring.

From 18 – 29 July, visitors can even get involved with helping the team to build a new Stone Age village!

No need to book in advance and normal entry prices will apply.
