Crown Inn

About

The Crown Inn is situated in the beautiful Peterborough countryside in a small village just eight miles from the city and in walking distance to the River Nene.

The picturesque inn offers locally sourced, homecooked food with a menu that spans traditional pub food like fish and chips and burgers to more bistro style food such as slow roast shoulder of lamb or Sautéed mushrooms on chargrilled toast with poached free range egg, watercress and truffle oil. Please note that our menus are based on seasonal produce and change regularly; these are only example meals. The lunch menu offers sandwiches and snacks, and the pizza menu provides something a little different, freshly prepared and baked in our kitchen. Our vegetarian and vegan menu also provides some fabulous alternatives for our customers.

Diners can eat in the restaurant or bar, as well on a decking area at the rear of the property on sunny days. As you would expect from a family run pub; children are more than welcome and can eat from their own menu, which has activities to help keep them entertained. Dogs are also welcomed in our bar and terrace areas.

Real ales, ciders and wines served at the bar are all chosen by the owner and change according to the season.
