Spooky Express at Nene Valley Railway

Come and ride the Spooky Express this Halloween weekend. You will be joined on board the train by a few spooky characters who might make the train go bump in the dark. As you travel through the tunnel keep an eye out for the Wansford Ghost. He is known to frequent the tunnel at this time of year. Look out for his spooky glow aa you pass through the darkness of the tunnel. Sometimes his presence does affect the lights on the train when you pass him on the tracks so do bring a torch if you're scared of the dark. Fancy Dress is a must to add to the spooky experience. Our team of spooks can't wait to meet you and welcome you on board the SPOOKY EXPRESS.
The Spooky Express will depart Wansford Station at 10:00, 12:00 and 14:00 on Sat 29th and Sun 30th October. On booking please select your desired departure time for your return trip on board the Spooky Express.
Your Halloween Spooky Express Tickets includes your selected departure time round trip travel, a Halloween Goody Bag for all passengers holding a Child 3 to 15 yr old's ticket (Goody Bag will not be included in the Free Under 3) Halloween Spooky Express Ticket.
Looking for something a little spookier? Then come along to the ONE NIGHT ONLY SCARE TRAIN!
This service is recommended for passengers aged 14+ yrs, the darkness hides all sorts of jumps and scares.
Arrival Time 18:30 at Wansford Station. Train will depart 19:00 30th October.
Halloween characters will be on the train to add to the experience, who knows where you’ll bump into them! or they will bump into you....Don't forget to wear your scariest attire to add to the atmosphere and the overall experience.
Please note, lighting, such as strobe lighting, and smoke machines may be in use on the Scare train.
We have a fun packed HALLOWEEN planned, so dust off that spooky costume, pop to the shops & pick up a new one or pull out your needle and thread and make your own.
