On the weekend of 10/11 August Ramsey invites everyone to a free Medieval Weekend. See and touch the archaeological finds from the recent excavations and experience a real dig with RACP and Oxford Archaeology East. Look at the extensive geophysical surveys and see where you think the ancient Abbey may have stood!
Enjoy a festival of crafts, skills and war mongering with medieval reenactors. Expect swords, artisan crafts, knights, damsels and demonstrations from the Norfolk and Norwich Medieval Association. All are welcome and there’s fun for the whole family.
