About

What Is The Secret Carnival Family Trail?

The trail is a family experience where you are tasked with hunting down 10 hidden carnival characters and learning the amazing story.

Visit each of the 10 locations to scan the QR codes, meet the quirky characters and practice your acting skills by taking special ‘scene’ selfies. These selfies can then be included in your very own, personalised, free storybook – with you as the stars of the story!

Don’t forget to enter the prize draw at the end to win a Nintendo Switch!

What do we need to do?

We’ve placed 10 characters around these parts and it’s your job to hunt them down and learn what they do in the carnival!

To take part simply:

1. Visit the characters using the map on the Secret Carnival website (highstreetsafari.com/locations/peterborough), in any order. Look for the main trail window stickers, once you see that you’ll know that a smaller character sticker is hiding close by in the window somewhere.

2. By scanning their QR codes with your phone’s camera (or typing the URLs, printed under the QR codes, directly into your browser’s address bar) you’ll learn about the characters and be able to take your selfies.

3. When you’ve visited them all use the upload page to create your own ‘selfie storybook’.

IMPORTANT: You must use the SAME browser on the SAME device for character collection. You must have browser cookies enabled and not clear them during the trail.

There's no cost to take part and you don't need to download any apps.
