The Burghley Game and Country Fair returns to 2021. Now extended to 3 days over the Bank Holiday weekend a great family day out to remember.

About this event

Set within the beautiful surroundings of Burghley House, Stamford.

This show has grown to be a favourite with locals over the years with country sports, displays and pursuits.

The World of Dogs offers the very best in dog displays accompanied by a Gundog Clinic, gun dog multi-scurry, fun dog show, chase the bunny, lurcher racing and showing. Something for every dog lover and country enthusiast, so don't leave your dog at home.

Fishing demonstration and lessons are available on the lake from the Angling Trust and Salmon and Trout Society.

There is also the opportunity to have a go at clay shooting whether you're a novice, beginner or an expert with your own gun. Tuition and advice will be on hand.

The shooting village offers a range of airgun disciplines with ATEO - Airgun training and education organisation.

A large craft village with craft marquees and craft demonstrations such as the Blacksmiths and Chainsaw Carving is the perfect place to buy that unique gift.

While the Food Glorious Food offers a range of selected national and local food producers and specialist street foods and drinks. Here you will find the country kitchen hosting a number of cookery demonstrations throughout the day - the perfect place to relax and unwind.

With country clothing, quality country trade stands and children’s amusements we can offer you an unbeatable family day out in the stunning grounds of Burghley House.

FAQ’s

Q. What will happen if the show is cancelled due to Covid-19?

A. If the show is cancelled due to Covid-19 or due to government lockdowns a full refund or transfer of tickets will be offered. Unfortunately, this does not cover individual non- attendance.

Q. I kept my tickets from last year, what do I need to do?

A. Your tickets will be automatically transferred so you don’t need to do anything. However, you may be contacted nearer the show to confirm the day you wish to attend and a new ticket issued.

Q. I have brought tickets and wish to change the day, can I do this?

A. Yes, up to a week before the event, or until the limit has been reached whichever is first.

Q. Will there be any covid restrictions at the show?

A. It is highly likely that there will be restrictions in place including the number of visitors per day. Government restrictions at the time of the event will be followed and will be announced in our terms of entry and updated on our web site prior to the event.
