About

The Cresset is Peterborough’s foremost wedding venue, with three elegant function suites ideal for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Whether you are planning an intimate gathering of your closest friends and family, or a large celebration for hundreds of guests, we can tailor the perfect bespoke package to best suit you.

Our flexible function suites allow your celebration to be as formal or relaxed as you wish. The size and flexibility of The Sovereign Hall makes The Cresset a popular choice for large weddings, whilst The Fitzwilliam and Gallery suites are ideal for smaller-scale receptions and ceremonies. Our secluded wedding garden also provides the perfect setting to capture memories to cherish for years to come.

Our expert wedding team provide a friendly, personal yet professional service and will work closely with you from the initial planning phase to the smooth running of events on the day itself. They can advise you on every aspect of your celebration, from your choice of room, menu selection and seating plans, through to cutting the cake, bridal favours and table decorations. You may wish to arrange your own band or disco, or we can take care of booking evening entertainment on your behalf. We can also advise on photographers, wedding cars, florists and any other finishing touches you require to make your wedding a day to remember.
