Ferry Meadows Country Park gives you the space to relax and to experience nature and the great outdoors.

Whether cycling, fishing, walking, jogging, flying a kite, horse riding, riding on the Ferry meadows miniature train or just relaxing – Ferry Meadows is the place to go.

If you really want to explore try orienteering, download our iApp trails or search for geocaches. Have a game of pitch and putt, enjoy a boat trip or try a range of water sports at Lakeside. There really is something for everybody.

When in need of refreshment, stop off at one the cafés or enjoy a picnic or a barbeque in a beautiful setting.

There is a full events programme which runs throughout the year and the Park regularly hosts a wide range of events, which are available to book online.

Mobility scooters are available on free loan from the Visitor Centre and the paths around the central area are hard surfaced and reasonably level. For more information on accessibility see our website or contact us.

Free admission to Ferry Meadows Country Park
Car park charges are in operation throughout the park. Charges apply to all vehicles, all day, every day. The car park is monitored by Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR).
