Did you know there are over 200,000 objects in the Museum's collection? You can see many of these in the fascinating exhibitions and events. They range from the most amazing Napoleonic bone palace to the largest fossil fish. The collection covers a great range of objects of national and international importance, such as the Norman Cross prisoner of war craft work, the Jurassic marine reptiles, finds from Roman Peterborough and the original manuscripts of the famous poet John Clare. You can also find out about the everyday life of Peterborough's people, past and present through the Social History collection.

Guided Walks around Peterborough city centre, provide a fascinating, fun and informative series of tours around different aspects of the city's past, in the daytime and during the evenings. Tours include: Historic Peterborough; Peterborough Ghost Walk; Museum Candlelit tours; Crime and Punishment; Inns and Taverns; Women of Peterborough and many more.
