The Bell Inn is set in its own picturesque gardens with a romantic stone courtyard, replete with a wishing well - a perfect location for those once in a lifetime photographs. Today, The Bell Inn is one of the areas acknowledged premier wedding venues offering the same old-fashioned standards of comfort and a good humoured, efficient service that was the hallmark of coaching houses in their 17th Century heyday. This historic setting will set the seal on a perfect day.

Should you wish to hold your wedding Day at the Bell Inn we have 3 approved areas for Civil Ceremonies offering flexibility when it comes to numbers. Our acclaimed Marlborough Suite was designed specifically with weddings in mind. Complete with a dance floor the suite can accommodate up to ninety five guests for a seated Wedding Breakfast and up to one hundred and thirty for an after-dinner party. For smaller receptions, the room can be partitioned to create a more intimate atmosphere. For smaller more intimate gatherings we have our Galleried Restaurant (for up to 25 people) or our Bistro for a more modern ceremony (for up to 55).



As we have been granted the honour of a licence to hold Civil Ceremonies, we would be delighted to help you plan your entire wedding day. Whether it is a three-course gourmet meal for your guests, or a spectacular dressed buffet, The Bell can certainly attend to all the Bride and Grooms desires for their perfect wedding reception.
