Travel back 3,500 years to discover what life was like for our prehistoric ancestors at the finest Bronze Age archaeological site in Northern Europe. Discovered by Francis Pryor in 1982, the remains of a prehistoric causeway have been uncovered by archaeologists, a section of which can be seen by visitors.

" Visit Flag Fen Archaeology Park to wander through a Bronze Age village, sit within the reconstructed roundhouses, and stand where our ancestors once stood by the ritual causeway.
" See the stunning range of ancient objects found on the site, including weapons, jewellery and even England's oldest wheel! It is believed that many of these were placed into the waters as ritual offerings to the gods, ancestors or spirits by our prehistoric ancestors.

" Visit the only place in the UK where original Bronze Age remains can be seen in situ, the incredibly preserved timbers of a monumental engineering achievement.

" Experience life in our prehistoric past by visiting the recreated buildings on site. See how our ancient ancestors lived in Bronze Age and Iron Age roundhouses. We even have a herd of Bronze Age sheep!
