Join us on this fun, informative and hands-on workshop:
stroll through the orchard to learn about orcharding and apple varieties best for juice and cider (you might even see our bees pollinating the trees!)
discover the fascinating history, process and practicalities around apple pressing and cider making
get hands on as we pick, wash,mill and press apples and sample a variety of apple juices
learn the basics about home cider making
Our Apple Pressing and Cider Making Experience is run in association with Vigo Presses.
Vigo Presses make around 6,500 litres of cider and 10,000 litres of apple juice each year. Its owner, Paul Courtney became an award winning cider maker in 2015, winning at the Devon County Show and a runner up in the South West of England Cider makers competitions.
If you want to make the most of your fruit, using the resources from your own back garden, allotment or friends and family, this experience day is for you!

OUR COURSES ARE ALL-INCLUSIVE: We'll provide you with organic refreshments, pizza cooked in our outdoor, wood-fired pizza oven and all the materials you'll need. You’ll even leave with a bottle of your very own pressed apple juice!
