Workshop/Course, from 19 Oct 2018, free entry

Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery

Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery

The aim is to use sewing and national textile traditions to bring together women from different communities in Peterborough. We want to pass on and share traditional crafts and skills. We will be using weaving, beading, embellishment, embroidery and fabric printing. In the autumn we will create an exhibition of the items we have made together.

This is a friendly and welcoming group, language is not a barrier, as we are learning words from each other’s language.

We are looking for other women to come along and join us, we can guarantee you will learn new skills and get a warm welcome. No sewing skills are necessary!

Every Friday.
