Details

As part of Dementia Action Week Alzheimers Society would like to invite you to ‘Picnic in the Park’ in Hinchingbrooke Park on Wednesday May 23rd between 11.30 am and 2pm and join them in taking action to unite against dementia by :

finding information on dementia and what actions can support those affected to live a full life
finding out what is on offer locally
sharing your experience and ideas with others
pledge your action on our action tree
find out more about park facilities and explore them.
The event is free of charge but please bring your own picnic and something to sit on as there are limited chairs and tables which will be available to those with limited mobility

Drink refreshment will be provided, the venue has fully accessible facilities and the picnic area is adjacent to the main building and café area of the park. Should the weather be typically British either wet or baking hot we have the option of enjoying our picnics indoors.

There is limited disabled parking facilities directly outside the building so, please contact as soon as possible to book one of these spaces (see contact details below). There are also four Pay and Display car parks very close by with parking for up to 80 vehicles.
