About

Historical elegance. Set in 20 acres of mature parkland and formerly the seat of the Marquesses of Huntly, Best Western Orton Hall, through sympathetic restoration, has evolved into a hotel with character. The hotel has 73 well appointed bedrooms, the Ramblewood Inn, a traditional country pub, the conference and banqueting centre, the Huntly restaurant and the Courtyard Leisure Club.

Civil Ceremonies. The hotel is licensed to hold civil ceremonies. The simple but moving ceremony can be held in one of the four rooms chosen for the purpose by the registrar, including the tranquil setting of the elegant conservatory.

The Great Room with its baronial splendour and the beautiful wooded parkland for your photographs makes the hotel an unrivalled venue for your special day. It is ideal for weddings up to 90 guests for a wedding breakfast and a further 30 for an evening buffet and reception.

The Orton Suite is a modern, light and spacious room comfortably seating up to 130 guests for a banquet and 150 guests for your evening reception.

The Huntly Restaurant with its intricate oak carved panelling is the perfect room for the smaller wedding in the afternoon. We can cater for between 36 and 60 guests depending on the style of reception and wedding breakfast required.

Professional service. Our team of professionals enjoy what they do and do it well. Whether you need advice on the order of ceremony, flowers, menu, choice of wine or any of the many other important details that will make your day special - expert help will be at hand.
