The Queens Head Inn and Restaurant enjoys a riverside setting in the attractive Northamptonshire village of Nassington near Peterborough, Oundle and Stamford. This beautiful Inn, built out of local mellow limestone, sits on the banks of the River Nene and is an idyllic and restful destination where anyone visiting the surrounding area can enjoy excellent accommodation, food and drink.
The nine spacious, chalet style bedrooms feature King size double beds with comfortable duvets & en suite shower or bathroom with toiletries, 32" Freeview LCD TV's, free wifi, telephone & clock radio, hospitality tray and mineral water. All rooms are non smoking and cars can be parked with direct access to the bedrooms.
The Restaurant prepares all the food using the finest of local ingredients & seasonal produce. An A la Carte menu and specials board is available for lunch and dinner every day complemented by an extensive wine list and Real Ales. The bright, air conditioned Garden Room with views down towards the River Nene and access to an outdoor terrace can comfortably sit up to 80 guests for wedding receptions, private functions and dinner dances.

Road Directions

From A1 northbound take the turn off for Wansford just before the Haycock Hotel. At the T junction turn right and proceed over the bridge. At the T junction turn left and then immediately left again. Follow the road for about 2 miles to Nassington where the Queens Head Inn & car park will be on the left hand side.

From A1 South bound take the A47 turnoff and at the roundabout turn right. At the enct roundabout turn left into Wansford and proceed about 400 yards to the bottom of the hill. Turn right and after 100 yards turn left toward Yarwell and Nassington where the Queens Head Inn & car park will be on the left hand side.
