The Pheasant
Winner of Gordon Ramsey's The F Word 'Best British Restaurant' and second in the over all competition beating 10,000 other hopeful restaurants.
The Pheasant is a thatched English inn set in a sleepy farming village. The large bar is a traditional and unspoilt mixture of oak beams, large open fires and simple wooden furniture.
Three distinct dining areas are comfortable, intimate and relaxed.
Jay and Taffeta Scrimshaw took over the running of The Pheasant in 2005. Jay worked for several years at Bibendum restaurant in South Kensington before running the White Swan in Fetter Lane. He trained at The Three Horseshoes. His food is eclectic, his favourite culinary area the deep south of France.
