Peterborough has events and festivals taking place all year and June is packed with 4 pages of things to do.

The main highlights for this month is the one and only Elton John playing live at the ABAX Stadium on 11th. Also on the 10th, the Dragon Boat Festival at Peterborough City Rowing Club, which will be a fantastic opportunity to get outdoors this summer and the Peterborough Cathedral Music Festival is on 9th–11th June, with a solo recital by virtuoso organist David Briggs, two new commissions and a concert for choir, organ and orchestra conducted by leading choral director David Hill which is not to be missed.

Other highlights for June are the Heritage Festival at Cathedral Square with lots of shows and displays throughout the day such as Falconry Displays, Grand Parade’s, Roman Drill display, WW1 Display and much more.

On Saturday 24th-25th the Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club Annual Rally takes place this year at Burghley. It is the largest Rolls-Royce and Bentley gathering anywhere in the world and makes a spectacular sight with trade and other stands, car and automobile auctions and class judging and a parade of prize winning cars.

Other highlights for June include the free daily Guided Tours of Peterborough Cathedral at 11.30am and 2pm and Tuesdays till Two at St John the Baptist Church.

The Hidden Heritage Tour is the essential guide to Peterborough’s past on the 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th runs from the museum every Saturday afternoon through February, plus the Priestgate Vaults tour will delight history lovers and run most days at 2.30pm.
