October – The month of festivals!

Peterborough has events and festivals taking place all year and October is packed with things to do.

The main highlights for this month include the long-awaited Perkins Great Eastern Run with its course starting in the city centre and through to Werrington and back taking place on Sunday 14th.

The Diwali Festival on 27th will be held in the Cathedral Square, Octoberfest on 19th – 20th which will be a great opportunity to meet new people and enjoy a drink, and The Black History Month has events spread out throughout October ranging from celebrations, luncheons and business summits.

Other highlights for October are the numerous events happening at the Cathedral, these include Museum of the moon, Silent disco under the moon, and Astronomer illustrated talk, like in a space talk and the star dome.

For those who love arts and craft the East of England Showground will be hosting a Crafting Live event of the 19th & 20th.
