Peterborough is a Heritage City and important in the national story. It is a Cathedral City that in 2018 will celebrate 900 years since its construction. It is a place settled for at least 3,500 years with internationally important 150 million year old marine reptile fossils. The story is told at the Museum and Art Gallery and sister museum at Flag Fen.
