Central Park

  

Central Park situated on Park Crescent is the Council's most prestigious park in the city. It has won the national Green Flag award for the fourth year in succession. Several areas of the park have been refurbished in the last few years including the sunken garden, the sensory garden and two play areas. There is also a new sand-pit and soft surfacing around the paddling pool. Other facilities at the park include an aviary, bowling greens, hard and grass tennis courts, a putting green, a croquet lawn and not forgetting the popular Buttercross Tea-rooms!
